Captain ‘High 5’ James Tea Cook, Ships’s Cook & Rainbow Pirate of the Carob Bean
“Our theme be getting yer scallywag children to be eating more vegetables. At least 5 portions of veg a day choosing one from each colour of the rainbow. So apart from the smoothie bike, the cookery workshops where we makes Rainbow sushi, pancakes, kebabs, chocolate protein balls, wraps and stacks and the kitchen science where we finds electricity in bananas, learns about emulsification and alkalinity we also has a few rainbow games. The games include Rainbow Ring Toss, 5 Veg in Bucket, Rainbow VeggieTin Can Alley and a bit of Vegetable themed pirate dancing. There also be some crafts such as High 5 Rainbow Hands and brainy potato pets”

5 a Day / Eat a Rainbow Kids Cookery Classes
Getting your kids to join children’s entertainer Captain James Tea Cook and the Pirates of The Carob Bean is the most fun-est way to learn about vegetamabubble glue and other important vegdumacational medical necessities that keep our bodies working the way human beans’ bodies were meant to. Hands on cooking workshops, kitchen science, dancing, singing, crafts and general larking about. Very noisy and at times messy. Although we do try hard to accommodate those with ASD and sensory issues it can get loud (bring ear defenders?).
Important: As we are dealing with food please ensure children arrive with hands washed, hair up (if appropriate) and no dangly bogies.
Young children will need to be supervised please. Not recommended for very young children if they have a fear of big fluffy parrots especially ones called ‘Pirate Potty’ who do uncanny seagull impersonations. The Parrot likes kids, but he’s never eaten a whole one.
Make yourself a rainbow hand print 5 a Day plate to hang on our garland or take home with your personal vegan message to inspire others to go vegan and save the animals, planet and public health from a big messy mess of a mess.
