Soraya is a freelance and NHS obesity specialist dietitian with over 10 years experience in helping ditch faddy diets by changing lifestyle behaviours resulting in long term weight loss success. She has extensive experience in adult acute and community settings of the NHS in diabetes, stroke, oncology, gastro and weight management. Soraya is currently working as a specialist weight management dietitian in the NHS and runs her own private practice under ‘Plant Nutrition With Soraya’. She encourages a holistic approach to well-being and weight loss and incorporates advice on mindful and emotional eating, stress management, sleep and movement.

 

Alongside lifestyle changes Soraya promotes a whole foods plant-based diet which increases satiety, improves gut health, increases energy levels and reduces the risk of chronic diseases. She also brings up a young child on a plant-based diet.
