Ellen Tout is a writer and author of ‘The Complete Book of Vegan Compleating: An A–Z of Zero-Waste Eating For the Mindful Vegan’.

 

Her work shares delicious, waste-free and sustainable recipes which make the most of all ‘compleat’ parts of ingredients. This incorporates skins, seeds, tops, peelings, cores and more to help you reduce waste, save money, make the most of your fruit and veg, and create truly tasty food.

 

Ellen is also the author of ‘How to Reduce Your Carbon Footprint: Practical Ways to Make a Real Difference’. Based in Kent, her writing focusses on the climate crisis and she is especially passionate about how reducing food waste hugely reduces emissions. She is currently studying Sustainable Food and Natural Resources at the Centre for Alternative Technology.
