Christine Vardaros competed professionally as an international cyclist and has been vegan since year 2000. She is also a freelance copywriter and translator. Her client list includes many of the biggest names in cycling and vegan health such as Shimano, Canyon, Ridley, Eddy Merckx and Stevens Bikes, Cycling Weekly UK, CyclingNews.com, VegNews magazine, Shape magazine, Vegan Health & Fitness magazine, The Vegetarian, Alternative Medicine Magazine, etc.

 

Vardaros serves as spokesperson for The Vegan Society, IDA (In Defense of Animals) and Switch4Good. She has talked at events such as Veggie Pride Parade in NYC, World Vegetarian Day in San Francisco, International Animal Rights Conference in Luxembourg, VegFest London, VegFest Scotland, Paris Vegan Day, Brussels Vegan Festival and ECOPOP – Belgium’s Ecological Biological Conference. In addition, Christine is founding member of the Marin County Bicycle Coalition, and a member of the athlete’s advisory board for the Stone Foundation for Sports Medicine and Arthritis Research.
