VegfestUK returns to London Olympia 12th 13th 2022

28th February 2022

The UK’s biggest indoor vegan exhibition return to Olympia in November 2022, organisers VegfestUK have announced today. With an extended gap of what will be 3 years since the last VegfestUK London event by the time the gates open Saturday 12th November 2022, organisers are understandably ecstatic to confirm the return to The Grand Olympia in central London for their first live event since the pandemic began. And with space for up to 400 exhibitors, and 20,000 visitors over the weekend, the UK’s flagship vegan event is set to be the most impressive yet.

‘We’re thrilled, obviously – it’s been tough all round, but especially for the Events Industry’ says founder Tim Barford ‘and it’s really important to return to live events and create an environment that once again showcases the very best of the vegan lifestyle and plant based living. The Grand at Olympia is a splendid venue and bigger than previous halls we’ve used – just as well, as the amount of new vegan businesses that have appeared over the last few years will see a demand like nothing we’ve seen before over 2 decades of producing the UK’s leading indoor vegan exhibitions.’

There’s a massive growth in all things vegan and plant based since Lockdown began nearing 2 years ago, and Barford anticipates there will be no shortage of visitors. ‘VegfestUK Olympia has always attracted a healthy and vibrant crowd, but with the hunger for live events following what will be a 3 year gap, and with so many new vegan products to try, demand for tickets will be high. But with more space, we’re able to reduce ticket prices considerably for 2022, which is important for visitors given the current economic challenges. We’re also pledging to keep some affordable and in some cases free options available for those small businesses and charities hit hardest by the pandemic, whilst attracting some of the biggest plant based brands on the planet.’

A key focus will be entertainment as well as the myriad of free samples, tasters, new products and special offers that close on 400 exhibitors will provide for visitors. Barford explains ‘’in previous years at London, with the conference facilities, we have focused very much on panels, debates, talks, presentations and discussion about all things vegan and plant based. But whilst we will retain some of these aspects, we figure people will welcome plenty of entertainment too. without giving too much away, expect plenty of laughs games and music as well as some fabulous exhibitions. And of course, stacks and stacks of food.’’

The website is live for bookings in the spring of 2022, meanwhile potential exhibitors can register their interest with this form here.

Tickets will be on sale in the autumn of 2022.
