Hi, I'm Rosie; I'm a raw-food and vegan chef, recipe developer and consultant, and vegan cheese queen (check out our range of Artisan Cashew Brie Cheese here). I'm a feminist, an environmentalist and advocate of healthy living.

In my early 20's I had a very unhealthy lifestyle; I worked as a dancer in a nightclub, I didn't sleep well, didn't have a lot of energy and suffered from terrible anxiety and depression. About 23 years old I totally changed my life around and now I run my own health food business and am a happy and balanced person. As a result of my experiences I'm really interested in the mind-body food connection and love how raw food can promote restful sleep, give you energy and help foster a better relationship between food and your body. I believe what we eat can change how we feel and the way we live our lives; and is an important part of the wheel of health; in which nourishment, exercise, meditation, rest and mental well being all play a part.

My company makes artisan raw-vegan food; and we've recently just launched our first products in the UK with a range of cultured Cashew Bries; Original Classic, Smoked Chipotle and our Baby Bleu which has been nominated for Best Vegan Cheese in the Vegfest awards.

It was all inspired by a year spent in Argentina working with a peanut butter social enterprise. After witnessing the nutritional magic first hand, I was hooked and decided to go it alone. ManíLife's mission is to harness the power of the Argentine peanut and create a line of premium, delicious and nutritious products. Through this we want to help transform the modern till display from sugary shite to nutritious, wholesome snacks we can all be proud of.

We are peanut butter done better. We roast a fresh batch every week. We don't add anything. We just use really good hi-oleic peanuts nuts sourced straight from Argentina. Argentine nuts are naturally sweeter, so there's no need for sugar. Hi-oleic means they have the same fat profile as virgin olive oil. This is special peanut butter.
