Appearing Sunday in the Pro-Intersectional Vegan Conference
Kim Socha, Ph.D. is an activist and author from Minneapolis, MN (USA). She organizes with Progress for Science and Minnesota Animal Liberation with special focus on animals exploited in the research and fur industries. She has published and spoken on intersectionalities amongst speciesism, ableism, racism, ageism, sexism, and environmental destruction. Her books include Women, Destruction, and the Avant-Garde: A Paradigm for Animal Liberation and Animal Liberation and Atheism: Dismantling the Procrustean Bed. Kim also served as contributing editor of Confronting Animal Exploitation: Grassroots Essays on Liberation and Veganism and Defining Critical Animal Studies: An Intersectional Social Justice Approach for Liberation.
