Victoria Moran

Victoria Moran

Author, Holistic Health Counsellor

Appearing on Saturday at 2pm in the Lifestyle talks room, and also at stall 50 for book signings all day Saturday

Victoria Moran is the author of eleven groundbreaking books addressing veganism, spirituality, and health, including her latest, Main Street Vegan: Everything You Need to Know to Eat Healthfully & Live Compassionately in the Real World. This book is endorsed by Russell Simmons, Moby, and Michael Moore; Bill Clinton says "I'm delighted you're helping to make the vegan lifestyle more accessible and achievable for as many people as possible"; and VegNews magazine calls Main Street Vegan "The Vegan Bible."

A professional speaker and two-time Oprah guest, Moran has maintained a 60-pound weight loss through her three decades as a vegan and raised her grown-up daughter Adair as a vegan (she still is - and she works as a stunt performer!) Victoria is certified as a Holistic Health Counselor (CHHC, AADP) and holds the T. Colin Campbell/eCornell Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition; and she is the director of Main Street Vegan Academy, training and certifying Vegan Lifestyle Coaches through weeklong intensives in New York City. Her articles have appeared in publications including VegNews, Vegetarian Times, Yoga Journal, Natural Health, and The Huffington Post. She hosts the weekly "Main Street Vegan" podcast, and lives with her husband, William Melton, and their rescue-dog, Forbes, in a "green" condo in Upper Manhattan.
