Founder and director of Vegetarian Guides
Appearing on Sunday October 6th at 1pm in the Lifestyle Talks Room
Alex Bourke is the founder and director of Vegetarian Guides Ltd, the world's only publisher and distributor of a whole series of vegan guidebooks. Titles cover London, Britain, UK regions and Europe. Veggie Guides are relied on by thousands of vegans, vegetarians and their families to find restaurants, cafes, bed & breakfasts and wholefood shops with take-away sections, on holidays, business and day trips, dates and nights out.
Alex was previously "the software guy" at a major guidebook company, worked at Viva!, and was a director of the Vegan Society. He writes the monthly Places To Go restaurants page for Vegetarian Living magazine, contributes travel features to national newspapers and magazines, and has appeared on radio and tv many times in several countries. Alex and co-author Ronny Worsey, who is also a top vegan chef, work with 100 local vegan contributors all over Britain and, so that you don't miss out, post new openings on the Vegetarian Guides website.
Alex speaks several languages and has travelled vegan on five continents. He and the Vegetarian Guides team can answer all your travel questions and sign books, so why not stop by and plan your next holiday. www.vegetarianguides.co.uk
